Interviews of research leaders, coordinators and supervisors
In mid 2009 interviews of Research leaders, co-ordinators and supervisors were undertaken in six universities across 3 states in Australia. The interviews were designed to investigate issues identiified in the symposium and national survey of research supervisors.
Four themes were used for the interviews and these were:
1) Changing nature of doctoral research
2) Implications of doctoral supervision
3) Implications for doctoral supervision training
4) Nature of supervisor support programs
